How do I get there?
Fly to Chania International Airport (CHQ), 35 km away. From the airport it's about 30 minutes drive to Gavalochori. A rental car is recommended.
Do I need a rental car?
Yes, a rental car is highly recommended. Gavalochori is in the hills and public transport is limited.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, all bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are included. We change them weekly.
Are pets allowed?
No, unfortunately pets are not allowed due to the pool and the furnishings of the house.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Different times may be possible by arrangement.
Is there WiFi and air conditioning?
Yes, the house has free WiFi and air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room.
Are there shops nearby?
In Gavalochori (100m) there is a small supermarket and bakery. For larger shopping you can go to Vamos (5 km) or Kalives (8 km).
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. Within 30 days, 50% will be charged.
Is the pool heated?
No, the pool is not heated, but thanks to the Cretan sun the water is very pleasant from May to October (22-28°C).
Is there parking?
Yes, there is free private parking right at the house.
Is the pool suitable for small children?
The pool is deep throughout (about 1.40 m to 2.10 m). It is therefore best suited for guests who can swim.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 5 nights. In July and August, the minimum is 7 nights.
What is included in the price?
The price includes VAT, bed linen, bath and beach towels, and final cleaning.
